Hello... thank you for stopping by to see a few photos of the White House Social Garden tour. My emphasis here is to share with you what I saw when I looked at the vegetable garden. I added a few others photos from the other gardens so that you could see how beautiful and lush they are. Please enjoy!

When you step outside in front of the White House, this is your view... beautiful grass and trees, a rather large fountain and the Washington Memorial.

This photo is the front of the White House on a rainy morning. I've learned that the White House has 132 rooms, 32 bathrooms, and 6 levels to accommodate all the people who live in, work in, and visit the White House.

This is the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden. Lady Bird Johnson dedicated the East Garden to Jacqueline Kennedy. Since then, the East Garden has also been called the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, the First Ladies' Garden and the East Garden.

The following five photos are flowers in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden and around the White House. The flowers are rich in color and beautiful.

This is the beehive that produces about 175 pounds of honey each year.

These flowers are often visited by the bees from the White House beehive. It is reported that when they do, the honey has a red color.

The next 24 photos are from the White House Kitchen Garden, which takes up 1,700 square feet of the White House's south lawn. We were not allowed to walk through the garden but we stood in one location and I was able to get a few photos from this location.

The gardens are arranged in such a way that it was appealing to my eye. I love the lettuce planted colorfully in rows.
